Yes, all job-postings on Rai must be remote-first. Job-postings that are either on-site or hybrid will not be verified.
How do we define a "Remote-first" job?
“Remote-first” jobs operate entirely virtually, with no onsite work. Remote-first jobs can be "Work from anywhere" or have geo-constraints. eg Remote-first (Philippines).
What types of jobs can be posted on Rai?
For now we're focusing on technical jobs across the following areas; Software Engineering, Data, AI/ML, Product, UI/UX and C-Level.
Will my job get promoted?
Yes! All jobs (regardless of plan) will be promoted to highly engaged regional audiences across Linkedin, Slack, WhatsApp and Facebook.
Can I post a remote job that requires applicants to be based outside of Southeast Asia?
No, Rai focuses exclusively on remote jobs in Southeast Asia. Initially in the Philippines then expanding to Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
I want to remotely hire someone based in Southeast Asia but my business is based outside the region. Can I still post?
Yes! Rai welcomes remote-friendly startups from around the world looking to hire in the Southeast Asia region.
Why is the salary field compulsory on job postings?
Job ads with salary details perform significantly better than those that don't. Being transparent with salary also creates a better experience for job-seekers and builds trust with the employer from the outset.
Why can I only receive applications via direct applications?
Over 90% of candidates don't complete an application after clicking "Apply" (Appcast). That's a crazy stat. We want as many strong candidates applying as possible. That means a seamless application process with as few clicks as possible.
Why is my employer profile under review?
All new employers on Rai undergo a quick verification check (by a human). This process helps us maintain quality and prevent fake companiess as well as optimising job-seeker experience. You'll receive the outcome within 24 hours.
Why is my job under review?
We review every job post to ensure that all required fields are complete, the description is comprehensive, and the role fits our scope. If we feel these criteria are not met, we will work with you to optimise the job post.

Do we aggregate (scrape) jobs from other platforms?
No, we don't. Every job on Rai is posted by partners with whom we have a direct relationship. Each employer also undergoes a moderation process to ensure they're motivated to hire through our platform.
Do I need to pay to use Rai?
No, we don’t charge job-seekers a fee for using the platform. This will never change.
Will remote-first jobs be clearly labelled?
Yes, we understand the frustrations job-seekers experience when this isn’t clear. All jobs. will clearly state if the remote job is "Work from anywhere" or have geo-constraints. eg Remote-first (Philippines).
Will salary details be shared on all jobs?
Yes, again we understand the frustration when job ads don't clearly state a salary range. This field will be compulsory for all jobs posted on Rai.
I want to register as a job-seeker. Why is my profle under review?
When you first register to apply for jobs on Rai, your profile undergoes a review (by a human) to ensure it's relevant and genuine. This process helps protect the platform from spam and irrelevant applications. Your profile will only be reviewed once and if approved, you’ll be able to apply to any job on the platform.
What are the possible reasons why my job-seeker profile may get rejected?
Possible reasons for rejections could include, but not limited to; AI generated spam, being based outside of Southeast Asia or having a skill-set outside of jobs that we advertise.
